ITI celebrates meaningful milestone

Online driver training provider delivers 15 millionth lesson, with 30% of users completing courses on mobile devices

Instructional Technologies (ITI) says it recently provided its 15 millionth lesson.

The course on Driver Distractions was taken by Samuel Mattingly, a driver for Knoxville TN-based TLD Logistics Services, an ITI customer since December 2016.

With this milestone, ITI says it continues to provide lessons at a record-setting pace. Among the last 1 million courses completed, the top five from its extensive PRO-TREAD library of off-the-shelf lessons included:

  • Defensive Driving
  • Pre-Trip Inspections
  • Truckers Against Trafficking
  • Hours of Service
  • Fatigue Management

Data on ITI lessons also indicates that 30% of users are taking courses on mobile devices. Additionally, more than half of ITI’s clients are using its Sentix Pro Learning Management System, and more than 12% of the 1 million courses were pre-scheduled on Sentix Pro platform as part of a pre-planned curriculum.

“These statistics show much more than just the number of PRO-TREAD and custom courses that are being supplied by ITI,” said Gina Baker, director of client services at ITI. “They are a direct view into the high-priority topics fleets are training their drivers on, and the growing role of mobile devices and our Sentix LMS to provide valuable training that improves safety and compliance for fleets and their drivers.”
