Mack Trucks is expanding its Mack Premium Service Contract to the Mack MD Series, making it easier for medium-duty customers to protect their investment with factory-backed coverage. Backed by the Mack dealer network across North America, it gives owners dependable support and more control over maintenance costs throughout the life of the truck.

“Whether it’s a single truck or a large fleet, our customers count on their Mack vehicle being ready for work every day,” Ashish Sadhu, Mack Trucks services director, said in a news release. “A service contract takes the surprises out of maintenance and keeps costs predictable so owners can stay focused on running their businesses.”

Coverage is tailored to how individual trucks operate—from scheduled preventive maintenance to extended protection for the powertrain, aftertreatment system, chassis, clutch, and towing—all locked in at today’s prices, Mack reported. Every repair is performed by factory-trained technicians using all genuine replacement parts available through Mack Trucks.

With a service contract, inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs can be handled in a single visit instead of multiple stops, and a dealer can help schedule that work in advance so fleets can plan downtime rather than react to it. Regular maintenance and engine oil analysis help catch issues early, reducing unexpected repairs and supporting fuel efficiency. Customers benefit from fixed monthly pricing along with flexible payment options.

The Mack MD Series is built specifically for medium-duty applications, including dry van/refrigerated, stake/flatbed, dump, and tank truck vocations. It is offered in the MD6, a Class 6 model with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 25,995 lbs., and the MD7, a Class 7 model with a GVWR of 33,000 lbs., giving Mack a complete lineup of Class 6 to Class 8 vehicles. Both MD Series models are exempt from the 12% Federal Excise Tax (FET), and the MD6 does not require a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to operate for non-hazardous payloads.
