Heil Trailer International has promoted Bill Harris to business development manager-Heil Defense Products. Adding experience and growth potential to the defense product lines, he will work with both Heil Athens and Kalyn Siebert defense product teams.
Gardner Denver Inc. has announced the retirement of Ross J. Centanni, executive chairman of the board of directors, and J. Dennis Shull, executive vice president and general manager-Compressor Division, effective January 2, 2009. Centanni has been appointed to serve as chairman emeritus of the board of directors through his retirement and will then provide consulting services to the company. Frank J. Hansen, previously the board's lead non-employee director, has been appointed to succeed Centanni as board chairman in a non-executive capacity, effective immediately. Barry L. Pennypacker, president and chief executive officer of the company, will now report to Hansen. Tracy D. Pagliara, currently executive vice president-administration, general counsel, and secretary, will succeed Shull after his retirement.
Pelican Worldwide announced that Maleah Corcoran has been named marketing specialist, a newly created position. Before joining Pelican, she was regional account manager for a nationwide building company, where she was responsible for the marketing needs of the Western division and supervised a team of graphic designers.
