Coxreels’ heavy-duty welding reels save space

Built for stationary shops and mobile service rigs, 100W and 100WCL hand-crank hose reels are designed to maximize durability and safety without sacrificing valuable workspace.

Coxreels 100W Series welding hose reels and 100WCL Series welding cable reels are developed to meet the space-saving demands of industrial markets. The heavy-duty hand crank models are ideal for stationary shop workstations and mobile service rigs with integrated welders or fuel gas compartments.

“Proudly made in the U.S.A. and backed by a two-year limited warranty, the 100W and 100WCL series deliver maximum durability in a compact, lightweight footprint,” Coxreels stated in a news release.

Series-specific features:

  • 100W welding hose reel: Equipped with an external fluid path and full-flow dual-ported swivel, routing both gas connections from the same side of the reel. Features standard 9/16-in. and 18 UNF welding hose fittings.
  • 100WCL welding cable reel: Features a built-in “cable keeper” to prevent the cable pigtail from whipping or twisting, alongside self-lubricating bronze spherical bearings engineered for rough, heavy-duty applications.

Engineered for durability and performance, these reels are constructed with a rugged 1/4-in. all-steel U-shaped frame and high-quality steel components for an extended product life cycle. Operator safety and line protection are enhanced via CNC robotically spun discs with rolled edges, while the direct hand crank action, open drum design, and composite bearings ensure smooth, hassle-free rotation.

To maintain complete control during transport, storage, or operation, an adjustable tension brake prevents “freewheeling,” Coxreels reported. The entire assembly is shielded by a long-lasting, chip-resistant, and rust-inhibiting CPC blue powder coat finish.
