EnTrans earns 17th TTMA Plant Safety Award

The Truck Trailers Manufacturers Association recognizes the company’s Athens Trailer Operations facility for outstanding safety performance in tank trailer production.

EnTrans International’s trailer manufacturing facility in Athens, Tennessee, where the company produces Heil and Polar Tank trailers, recently received a 2025 Plant Safety Award from the Truck Trailer Manufacturers Association.

TTMA recognized EnTrans’ Athens Trailer Operations plant in Tank Category A for facilities with over 490,000 man-hours per year.

The award is EnTrans’ 17th TTMA Plant Safety Award, the company reported.

“We are honored to receive this industry-wide recognition from TTMA for our commitment to safety,” Jake Radish, EnTrans president and COO, said in a news release. “Safety is—and always will be—our top priority at EnTrans. We remain focused on protecting our team members and creating an environment that allows them to work safely.”

TTMA has been issuing Plant Safety Awards for over 50 years.

Award winners are selected based on an evaluation and a ranking taken from injury data recorded on the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) annual injury reports.
