Safety Pumping Systems (SPS) announces the release of a companion product for its Safety Bump product line, the Safety Lock, which eliminates the chance for cam lock ears to open up during deliveries due to pulsing or vibration.

Safety Locks replace unreliable Velcro straps and hard-to-operate locking cam lock ears with an easy-to-install and easy-to-remove, heavy-duty “clip” that clicks into place over the ears. Velcro straps tear and wear out against the edges of the ears and, like various other ear locking systems, are difficult to use with gloved hands.

“Due to their bright color, drivers can quickly tell that their cam lock ears are locked, even from a distance,” said Dave Palmer, president of Safety Pumping Systems.
