San Antonio-based Pressure Systems International (P.S.I.) recently extended its exclusive partnership with Celerity DRS, which will continue to serve as the European distributor of its automatic tire inflation system (ATIS).
Celerity has been P.S.I.’s partner in Europe and surrounding areas since 2017.
P.S.I. said the business now is well positioned to capitalize on the upcoming R141 legislation that requires all trailers built in Europe after July 2024 to be equipped with either ATIS or a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
“We couldn’t have a better partner for our tire management products than Celerity DRS,” said Jim Sharkey, president of P.S.I. “They are far more than a distribution partner in that they work with adapting our system to both the European market as well as the specific requirements of their customers.
“Additionally, their teams of technical and sales professionals are focused on providing sales, service, and support to OEMs, and axle and suspension manufacturers, as well as fleets and service providers in the region. [They have] solidified P.S.I.’s reputation and built our market share with this important customer base.”
Celerity is based in Recklinghausen, Germany.
“We are proud to represent P.S.I. in our market because we know we are supplying the best, most reliable tire inflation system to our customers,” said Bart Ezendam, general manager for Celerity. “As a result of R141, the demand is going to grow substantially and P.S.I. is positioned to support that.”
