Civacon delivering online event

Sept. 15, 2020
Virtual sessions, followed by live Q&A on Sept. 24, to explain how digital truck tank interfaces can improve fleet operations

Civacon, which specializes in truck tank components and systems, is hosting a series of virtual sessions to provide education on the benefits, use cases and features of digital truck tank interfaces, an evolution from traditional analog, mechanical controls.

Those interested are invited to register for the Civacon Virtual Seminar starting Sept. 15 for access to this series of videos, as well as a live Q&A session.

Video content from this seminar, which can be accessed at any time upon registration, will cover advances in technology for preventing overfill, crossover, fuel-retain and theft, as well as how to employ these digital tools to increase uptime and assist in accurate delivery for drivers and fleet managers. Following the seminar, Randy Robinson, national sales manager for Civacon, and a panel of Civacon experts will host a live Q&A at 1:30 p.m. EDT on Sept. 24 to address equipment questions in real-time.

“As travel restrictions and safety precautions have limited our opportunities to meet face-to-face with our distributors and customers, we are focused on creating new experiences that keep this valued network up to date on our offerings,” Robinson said. “Our digital fuel management solutions CivaCommand and CivaConnect provide greater fleet visibility in real-time while helping to limit costly mistakes, two capabilities that have been lacking in analog systems.”

The latest truck tank systems, including CivaCommand and CivaConnect, are digital in nature. This innovation has impacted fuel loading and unloading by providing performance data that was not visible to fleet managers through analog tech. Digital systems also have brought intuitive touchscreen functions to the controls that prevent overfill, retain conditions and fuel crossover, making day-to-day tasks simpler for drivers. Though proper use of mechanical components still is up to the driver, digital alerts and safeguards make these systems a more active partner in proper delivery compared to manual processes and checklists.

In the current work-from-home landscape, which applies to many fleet dispatchers, access to the CivaConnect dashboard is a simple, effective way to keep watch on fuel out for delivery.
