Atlantic Aviation teams with Garsite for new refuelers

April 9, 2014

Garsite, a leading manufacturer of aircraft refueling products in North America and part of Wabash National Corporation's Walker Group division, announced April 8 it has been selected to replace approximately 20% of Atlantic Aviation's refueler fleet.

Atlantic Aviation is the largest fixed-base operator (FBO) in the United States with more than 60 locations nationwide. Atlantic Aviation chose Garsite for its customer service and attention to detail, as well as its reputation in the industry and among Atlantic employees. Additionally, Garsite was able to re-engineer components to meet Atlantic Aviation's operational needs.

"Garsite makes a quality product that our employees like and is easy to use," said Todd Baker, director of procurement at Atlantic Aviation. "We've enjoyed working with Garsite for three years. Their dedication to quality and willingness to help us design refuelers that meet our needs makes them a good fit."

Since 1952, Garsite aircraft refuelers and hydrant dispensers have been the refuelers of choice by major in-to-plane fueling companies, oil companies, airlines, freight distribution companies, and fuel marketers around the globe. Garsite refuelers and aviation fueling systems are in service every day at nearly every major US airport and in over 80 countries on six continents. In its 62-year history, Garsite has produced more than 15,000 pieces of aviation refueler equipment.

"We appreciate the opportunity to work with the team at Atlantic Aviation," said Paul Sundby, director of sales at Garsite. "With a common culture of providing premier customer service, quality and safety, we look forward to supporting them as they continue to grow as a leader in aviation services."
