Sure Seal Inc, a division of the OPW Fluid Transfer Group, has announced that its 500 and 800 Series resilient-seated butterfly valves will now come standard with internally lubricated seats. This upgrade improves service life, results in lower torque requirements, ensures shaft lubrication and seat integrity, and meets NSF 61 certification standards.

The company manufactures its valves with materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloys. Sizes range through 60-inch with ANSI 150-, 300-, and 600-lb specifications. All Series 500 and 800 seats are equipped with EPDM, Viton, and Sure Seal's Special Abrasion Resistant formulated blend of FDA-approved Nitrile, along with 12 other standard compounds to meet all applications. Sure Seal also uses only totally encapsulated patented valve seats made with Teflon. As a standard practice, every valve manufactured by Sure Seal is also tested to 110% of its pressure rating.
