EnerSys has introduced a new starting, lighting, and ignition (SLI) battery that provides up to 70% more starting power at low temperatures. The Odyssey PC2150 is ideal for heavy-duty deep-cycle applications such as over-the-road trucks, fire trucks, buses, construction equipment, refrigerated trailers, and RV motor homes.

Using EnerSys' proprietary thin plate pure lead (TPPL) technology, the new 12-volt PC2150 provides greater cranking power, especially at low temperatures. It offers 70% more starting power at -22° F (-30° C) than wet cell batteries. The battery also has a service life of six to eight years and can be stored for up to two years at 77° F (25° C) when fully charged.

The PC2150 offers rugged construction with superior vibration resistance and sealed dry cell construction to prevent external corrosion and acid leakage. It is certified non-hazardous and non-spillable by US DOT and IATA for unrestricted, safe shipping, and can be installed on its side. The sealed design eliminates the need for an acid vent tube.
