President George W Bush continues to support Mexican truck entry into the United States and hopes Congress will take action to ensure Mexican trucks will be operating safely in this country, according to Ari Fleischer, the president's press secretary. Bush wants legislation that ensures the trucks will enter the country legally and that will provide the funding to hire additional border inspectors, Fleischer said at a news conference this week.
