The National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) announced that John Shanahan is joining the association as vice-president for legislative affairs. He spent the past four years at the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA), where he was senior director for government affairs responsible for developing strategies and directing advocacy activities in the energy and environment areas.
