The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is requesting comments on safety audits required for Mexican carriers before they are allowed to enter the United States, according to information published in the Federal Register October 17.

Comments must be received on or before November 1, 2007. FMCSA is publishing data and information relating to all audits conducted as of October 9, 2007.
