Diesel price inches down

The average on-road diesel price last week inched down .007 cents per gallon, continuing a slide begun in late summer, according to information from the Department of Energy.

Last week's average price across the nation topped out at $2.517 per gallon, more than 35 cents less that it was this time last year.
