Wreaths Across America, a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization formed as an extension of the Arlington Wreath program that is committed to honoring deceased US veterans, announced a corporate contribution from Qualcomm Inc. Qualcomm's gift will enable Wreaths Across America to significantly enhance its presence at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery and to establish its presence at Miramar National Cemetery — both in San Diego CA — for its December 2010 wreath-laying ceremonies in honor of fallen veterans.

“Our commitment to supporting Wreaths Across America is a natural extension of the core values of citizenship and community that our Qualcomm employees share with so many of our customers, including Baylor Trucking, Boyle Transportation, Pottles Transportation, Perdue Trucking, Prime, and Walmart, all of whom support this important organization,” said Rich Sulpizio, chief executive officer and president, Qualcomm Enterprise Services. “We are honored to collaborate with Wreaths Across America.”

“Thanks to Qualcomm's generous support of Wreaths Across America, we will be able to deliver more than 2,500 additional wreaths to San Diego veterans' cemeteries this holiday season,” said Barry Pottle of Pottle's Transportation and a longtime supporter and advocate of Wreaths Across America. “In addition to providing financial support, Qualcomm's commitment to this important cause also includes employee volunteers who will participate in the laying of the wreaths and other activities in support of our veterans.”
