Weekly on-road diesel price creeps up

Just like the August thermometer, the price of on-road diesel continues creeping upward, topping out at $3.055 per gallon last week. That's over seven cents more than the price of $2.98 per gallon reported at the week before, according to the August 7 report from the Department of Energy.
