NovaFlex Hose has two new food and beverage hoses to handle transfer of milk, fruit juice, wine, or other liquids and food solids. Taste and aroma are not affected, as the hoses are odorless and tasteless.

The hose comes in two styles: the 6584 and 6582. Manufactured with an encapsulated nylon helix, the 6584 crush-resistant hose will maintain its shape under adverse conditions in high traffic areas. It will even retain its shape after being twisted, kinked, or run over by heavy equipment — and it works well under vacuum and pressure applications. The NovaFlex 6582 is constructed with a metal-encapsulated wire.

These hoses offer liquid repellent capabilities due to the inner white FDA butyl tube. Nothing sticks to them, making them easy to clean. The hoses are also bacteria-resistant, when coupled with NovaFlex's new internally expanded coupling system. This provides a smooth flow into the hose and no buildup at the coupling edge inside the hose.

Both styles are rated for full suction and discharge service up to 150 or 250 psi and reinforced with plies of fiberglass tire cord. The hose cover is smooth high-grade weather- and abrasion-resistant EPDM rubber. Hoses are available in 100-foot lengths and have a temperature rating of -40° F to +225° F continuous, (+250° F intermittent).

The NovaFlex 6584 and 6582 are 3A-approved and certified, as well as being accepted by USDA's Dairy Division. Factory-installed internal expansion couplings are available at an additional cost. For more details, contact NovaFlex, 20 W Pearce St, Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada L4B 1E3.
