The new Dräger X-am 3000 gas monitor continuously measures combustible gases, oxygen, carbon monoxide, and/or hydrogen sulfide. Combustible gas measurements are made in the range of 0-100% of the lower explosive limits (% LEL) or 0-5% by volume of methane. Oxygen is measured from 0-25% by volume, carbon monoxide is measured from 0 to 999 ppm, and hydrogen sulfide is measured from 0 to 99 ppm.
The X-am 3000 is suitable for personal monitoring and surveying, and with the optional internal sample pump, is ideal for confined-space applications. It is powered by a rechargeable NiMHy battery that runs more than 18 hours on a single charge. Being compatible with the Dräger E-Cal system, the X-am 3000 can also be configured with a datalogger to record all gas exposure data.
