ACC completes merger with Plastics Council

The American Chemistry Council (ACC) has completed the merger with the American Plastics Council (APC) and further integrated many functions within the ACC.

The American Chemistry Council (ACC) has completed the merger with the American Plastics Council (APC) and further integrated many functions within the ACC.

The changes include:

•APC becomes the Plastics Division of the American Chemistry Council.

•The Chlorine Chemistry Council becomes the Chlorine Chemistry Division of the American Chemistry Council.

•CHEMSTAR becomes the Chemical Products and Technology Division.

•American Solvents Council becomes the Solvents Industry Group.

•Chemical Information and Technology Council becomes the Chemical Information and Technology Center.

•Polycarbonate Business Unit becomes the Polycarbonate/BPA Global Group.

•Polystyrene Packaging Council becomes the Food Service Packaging Group.

•Rigid Plastic Packaging Institute becomes the Rigid Plastic Packaging Group.
