Bill Staddon, trailer sales and product manager of E D Etnyre & Co, died recently after a battle with cancer. Funeral services were conducted June 18 at the United Methodist Church in Oregon IL, and burial services were in Rensselaer IN. Staddon is survived by his wife Betty of Oregon; daughter Beth Ann of Dallas TX, son Greg of Dallas TX and son Jerry of Rensselaer; his mother, a Rensselaer resident; and three grandchildren. Memorial funds have been established in Staddon's name for the United Methodist Church building fund in Oregon and Ogle County Hospice Association, Pines Road, also in Oregon.

Raymond R Preiss Jr of Manheim PA, a 40-year veteran of the tank trailer repair industry, died June 3, 2003, after a brief illness. He began his career with Heil Trailer International in Milwaukee WI as a fabricator/welder, and held various positions at Heil until he was transferred to Lancaster PA, where he served as repair service manager. For the past five years, he and his family owned Dry Bulk and Liquid Tank Services Inc, a tank trailer repair business in Manheim. Preiss operated the business with his two children, Raymond R Preiss III and Rebecca Miller. Survivors besides his children include his wife, Carolyn Preiss; and his parents, Raymond R Preiss Sr and Lorene Preiss.
