J. J. Keller & Associates Inc. recently introduced Keller-Soft Waste Manifest and Label Maker software, a tool that automates completion of the Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest form (use of which is required by the Environmental Protection Agency for all hazardous waste shipments).
This software includes detailed instructions for filling out each form. It provides drop-down boxes that allow users to select information that has been keyed before, such as designated facility, description, or transporter/generator. The software then prints forms and stores them electronically so users can access previous forms and labels to assist with reporting and resending of like shipments. Users can also preview forms and labels before printing if corrections are needed.
The software is compatible with Keller's Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest forms, as well as forms produced by others. It also prints and saves non-hazardous-waste manifests and waste markings as well as hazardous-waste markings/labels.
