Warren E Hoemann has been appointed chief counsel of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). He also will serve as chief deputy to Annette M Sandberg, the acting FMCSA administrator who President Bush plans to nominate as the agency's administrator. Hoemann most recently was vice-president of the California Trucking Association (CTA).
