The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) has posted the latest version of its Idling Regulations Compendium online at atri-online.org.

Designed to help truck drivers reduce idling and comply with idling regulations throughout the United States, the compendium identifies 34 different state, district, county, and city regulations that establish idle limits for commercial vehicles.

Maximum idling limits and fines are listed, as well as specific exemptions. In addition to the online compendium, ATRI provides the information on a cab card which is designed to be printed, folded, and kept by drivers in the cab of the truck.

To obtain a copy of the compendium and cab card, free of charge, visit ATRI online.
