Ryder Charitable Foundation, the charitable arm of transportation and logistics provider Ryder System Inc, has awarded a grant to VeteransPlus, a 501(c)(3) non-profit financial education company headquartered in Clearwater FL, to support the development and launch of the new online Yellow Ribbon Registry Network (YRRN).

The Yellow Ribbon Registry Network (www.registrynetwork.org) is the nation’s first centralized online resource and clearinghouse where service members and veterans can fill out just one request for assistance and have their application quickly validated and submitted to multiple non-profit funding partners through the network for response to their critical needs. The site also allows individual citizens to provide donations to directly assist service members, veterans, and military families in need.

“As an industry leader in global transportation and logistics, Ryder benefits from the talent, knowledge, and leadership of the thousands of highly skilled veterans and military members who we employ,” said David Bruce, Executive Director of the Ryder Charitable Foundation. “Supporting VeteransPlus with the development of the Yellow Ribbon Registry Network is an excellent way for the Ryder Charitable Foundation to also provide meaningful assistance to service members, veterans, and their families, and demonstrate how much we appreciate those men and women who make extraordinary sacrifices to serve our nation.”
