Diesel price rises 5 cents

The average price of all types of on-road diesel rose five cents per gallon across the nation last week, ringing up at $2.84, according to Department of Energy (DOE) information.

The average price of low sulfur diesel was $2.799 per gallon, up 4.8 cents from the week before. Ultra low sulfur diesel also was up five cents at $2.853 per gallon.
