The Department of Transportation's Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and National Tank Truck Carriers will cosponsor five special workshops for cargo tank testers, inspectors, and cargo tank owners this summer and fall.
The 2010 classes will begin with the June 22-23 workshop in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Workshops will focus on compliance with the DOT's cargo tank qualification and maintenance regulations found in 49 CFR Parts 107 and 180. Information will be presented covering all MC and DOT series cargo tanks, as well as tanks built under special permits. This classroom seminar provides analysis of the complex series of federal regulations so carriers and repair facilities may achieve full compliance.

The program will be conducted from 8:30 am to 4 pm each day. Certificates of attendance will be issued to those attending both days. Registration for the workshop is $275 per person and covers workshops, a 200-page workbook, an NTTC Hazardous Materials Regulations book, two lunches, and morning continental breakfasts.
