FINDING up-to-the-minute information about Peterbilt dealerships (such as parts and service specials, financing options, store hours, and personnel) is now easier than ever with the launch of the new dealer web template program, according to Peterbilt Motors Co, Denton, Texas.

The new program, which allows participating dealerships to build and administer their own company-branded websites that are linked directly to http://www.peterbilt.com, gives customers a quick and convenient way of finding their local dealership, and virtually everything they would want to know about it.

“The dealer template program gives our 60,000-plus monthly online visitors a simple, direct way to tap into the full spectrum of our dealerships' resources,” says Dan Sobic, assistant general manager. “Customers trying to locate a Peterbilt dealership they have not visited before, or the website of a dealership they are familiar with but don't know the web address, will be able to log onto the Peterbilt site and find the information they need with just a few mouse clicks.”

Sobic adds that customers can research the model and options that best meet their application, as well as the full range of TruckCare aftermarket service programs for that vehicle. Customers then can use the dealer locator to be directed to the website of the Peterbilt dealer in their area to further explore their needs with a dealer representative.

Dealerships can customize their sites by uploading photography and text while still retaining the look and feel of the Peterbilt site.
