Blair Rubber Co will expand its rubber lining manufacturing plant from a 30,000-square-foot leased building in Copley OH to a larger 50,000-sq-ft facility in Seville OH. Construction of the new facility has begun, and the new plant should be fully operational by January 2006.
Owned by Blair, the new facility will be on seven acres of land in the Panther Industrial Park south of Interstate 76 off Highway 3. This site provides the potential for another 20,000-sq-ft future expansion.
The new plant will have 40-plus employees and provide more floor space, improved workflow, and capacity. Blair will be adding another calendar line and increasing cold room storage area.
Total cost of the project is about $5.1 million. The new address is 5020 Panther Parkway, Seville OH 44273.
