Two-cent increase in diesel cost

After a slight easing for one week, the price of on-road diesel rose just over two cents last week from $2.897 to $2.920 per gallon, according to information reported May 15 by the Department of Energy.

After a slight easing for one week, the price of on-road diesel rose just over two cents last week from $2.897 to $2.920 per gallon, according to information reported May 15 by the Department of Energy.

The week before, reported May 8, the increase was less than one cent. However, the price has increased 73 cents per gallon from last year at this time.
