Dover Fluid Management, a division of Dover Corporation, announced the promotion of Tim Warning to president of its OPW Fluid Transfer Group (OPWFTG), effective immediately. He will take over from David Crouse, who was recently appointed president of OPW Fueling Components, another Dover company. Warning joined Dover in 2001 as president of OPW Engineered Systems in Lebanon OH. He is also president of Sure Seal Inc. in Mineral Point MO.
Rich Ferguson has been appointed vice president, sales for Freightliner Trucks. He most recently served as president, Daimler Trucks Remarketing Corporation (formerly FMDC) and SelecTrucks of America LLC. Ferguson succeeds Alex Bernasconi, who has served Freightliner Trucks since 1997 and as vice president, sales since March 2003. Bernasconi will continue to support the firm through mid-year 2009 on several special projects.
Gerald R. Szczepanski was appointed to the board of directors of Rush Enterprises Inc recently. He was the co-founder and former chairman and chief executive officer of Gadzooks Inc, a specialty retailer of casual clothing and accessories for teenagers. Szczepanski is a director, chairman of the Compensation Committee, and a member of the Audit Committee and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee of GameStop Corp.
Mark Wallace, president and chief executive officer of Webasto Product North America Inc (WPNA), has left the company effective October 31, 2008. Fred Olson, member of the WPNA board of directors and former president and CEO of Webasto Roof Systems Inc of Rochester Hills MI, will assume the role of interim president and CEO for WPNA.
