Wolf Lake, Evergreen Renewables to produce biodiesel

Evergreen Renewables LLC has announced closure of a deal for a $10-million biodiesel plant at Wolf Lake Terminals, Hammond IN. The facility will initially produce five-million gallons of biodiesel per year made from soybean oil.

Evergreen Renewables LLC has announced closure of a deal for a $10-million biodiesel plant at Wolf Lake Terminals, Hammond IN. The facility will initially produce five-million gallons of biodiesel per year made from soybean oil.

The group aims to start producing biodiesel in the first quarter of 2006 and intends to expand production to 30-million gallons per year. The facility will be constructed to produce biodiesel according to BQ-9000, an industry standard for biodiesel producers.
