Peter “Pete” Gallagher Jr, inside sales coordinator for Girard Equipment, died Jan 5, 2002, at age 39 from complications due to cancer. He is survived by his wife, Debra, and their three children: Peter, 11; Daniel, 10; and Megan, 7. A devoted family man, Gallagher enjoyed taking his family on camping trips and coaching his children's various sports teams. Known for his friendly voice and warm personality, he found pleasure in helping others in his own community, as well as customers from around the world. The 10-year Girard employee also enjoyed the company of his co-workers and friends. Girard has forwarded numerous expressions of sympathy, sent by e-mail and telephone, to the Gallagher family. Guillermo Hicks H, director of Trans-Lesa SA de CV, a Mexican tank truck carrier based in Aguascalientes, died March 16, 2002. His company is partnered with Groendyke Transport Inc of Enid OK for United States-Mexico chemical shipments. Survivors include his sons, Guillermo and Rodrigo, who are actively involved in Trans-Lesa operations.
