NIOSH revokes certificates for two facepiece respirators

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) has revoked approval certificates for two Wen Mask Industrial Co filtering facepiece

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) has revoked approval certificates for two Wen Mask Industrial Co filtering facepiece respirators.

NIOSH revoked the certificates because of the respirators' failure to meet code requirements. The two respirators, whether marketed by Wen Mask or under a private label, no longer will be listed as NIOSH-approved respirators. They no longer can be manufactured, assembled, sold, or distributed. NIOSH says the respirators were approved for marketing under these labels:

  • Wen Mask Industrial Co, Model KR-795

  • Magid Glove and Safety Mfg, Model KR-795

  • Makrite Industrial, Model KR-795

  • Mercer Tool Corp, Model KR-795.

  • US Safety, Model KR-795/AD2N95

  • Wasip Ltd, Model KR-795

  • Yon Yor Co, Model KR-795

  • Wen Mask Industrial Co, Model KR-808

  • Magid Glove and Safety Mfg, Model KR-808

  • Makrite Industrial, Model KR-808

  • US Safety, Model KR-808/AD2N95OV

  • Wasip Ltd, Model KR-808
