Since Breconcherry Ltd launched the Torus in September 2002, it has been one of the best-selling spray heads in the Breconcherry line. The Torus line has been expanded, and changes include:

  • Wash pattern can be customized: 180° and 360° for both Torus 50 and Torus 75.

  • Three versions in each product category: one, two, and four slots to suit flow rates.

  • Now available in completely pure PTFE.

  • Provided in carbon PTFE in order to comply with ATEX regulations.

  • Stainless steel offered with CPTFE rotors for applications demanding a tough spray head.

  • Option of hastelloy body when the application cannot allow stainless steel, but requires a robust spray head.

  • Versatile connections: pin fix and BSP/NPT threaded for wider application range.

Advantages of the Torus include:

  • Low pressure — from 0.5 bar, can be used in enclosed environment.

  • Low flow — from 8 liters per minute, reduction in effluent costs.

  • Compact — perfect for use in glove boxes, hoppers, and/or to flush piping through. It can clean larger vessels when used in multiples.

  • Versatility — it can be fully customized.

  • Complete sanitary compliance — the materials used in the Torus are Food and Drug Administration-approved.

  • Perfect replacement for the standard spray ball — faster wash with effluent costs lower than those of spray balls.
