Diesel price falls 5 cents

The average price across the nation of on-road diesel fell just over five cents last week, ringing up at the pump at $2.847 per gallon, according to information from the Department of Energy.

Low sulfur diesel followed a similar trend, down 5.6 cents per gallon at $2.790 per gallon. Ultra low sulfur diesel was down slightly less than low sulfur at 4.9 cents per gallon, costing $2.861 per gallon.
