PSG Technologies on display at ILTA to include energy-efficient, trouble-free pumps and compressors

May 21, 2014

Pump Solutions Group (PSG), the global leader in the manufacture of positive displacement pumps and related flow-control solutions, is pleased to announce that several of its brands will be exhibiting their technologies at the upcoming International Liquid Terminals Association (ILTA) 34th Annual International Operating Conference and Trade Show.

The ILTA Show, which annually brings together more than 3,000 professionals from the worldwide bulk liquid-terminal industry, will be held from June 2-4 at the George R Brown Convention Center in Houston TX.

Exhibiting in Booth 733, the PSG brands that will be present, along with the technologies they will have on display, include:

  • Blackmer will be featuring its ML Series and STX Series Sliding Vane Pumps. Utilizing Blackmer’s unique sliding vane design, these positive displacement rotary pumps have been designed to handle a wide variety of liquid-storage terminal applications, and offer the best combined characteristics of sustained high-level performance, energy efficiency, trouble-free operation and low maintenance costs. In addition, Blackmer will showcase its HD Series Reciprocating Gas Compressors, which provide quiet, efficient transfer of a wide range of liquefied gases. HD Series compressors have also been designed to handle the vapor recovery of gasses that are common in terminal applications.
  • Wilden will be highlighting its Advanced Series Air-Operated Double-Diaphragm (AODD) Pumps with the innovative Pro-Flo SHIFT Air Distribution Systems (ADS)--which, thanks to its revolutionary design, allows Wilden pumps to achieve up to a 60% savings in air consumption over all competitive AODD pump technologies. Ideally suited for many liquid-terminal applications, Wilden Advanced Series pumps offer a redesigned liquid path and leak-free bolted construction to provide superior transfer of fluids. The Advanced Series can also overcome the dead-heading that can occur during filling operations.
  • Griswold 811 Series ANSI Centrifugal Pumps utilize self-tightening impellers that reduce leaks and failures, making them ideal for a broad range of applications in the demanding liquid-terminal industry. The 811 Series features the ability to externally adjust the clearance, ensuring peak efficiency even after wear-loss. Back pump-out vanes reduce pressure on the shaft seal and bearings, while ultra-smooth investment-cast impellers guarantee hydraulic and mechanical balance, as well as maximized seal and bearing life.
  • Maag Industrial Pumps will be displaying its S Series line of twin screw pumps at this year’s show. S Series pumps are ATEX-certified for use in explosive or dangerous environments, and address the difficult pumping challenges found in many liquid-terminal applications. S Series pump models include WTG, NTG, and multi-phase. In addition, Maag will also be featuring its G Series Internal Gear Pump line, which is ideally suited for applications requiring a pump that can move thin fluids, as well as demanding viscous liquids. Designed with only two moving parts, the G Series pumps operate equally well in both directions, providing a positive, non-pulsating flow.
