SkyBitz has announced the availability of Tank Activity and Tire Pressure sensors. The two new sensors, together with SkyBitz’s suite of intelligent sensors, provide remote monitoring and diagnostic capabilities of enterprise assets.

The Tank Activity Sensor provides information about the content status of tank-based assets by indicating whether a valve has been opened to release gas, petroleum, or chemicals. Serving chemical and oil and gas transportation services, the sensor affordably tracks and records events, and detects potential theft or unauthorized discharge of product.

The Tire Pressure Sensor provides quick, on-tire pressure identification. Mounted on the wheel end, the sensor continually monitors tire pressure to detect underinflated tires while reducing tire maintenance, fuel costs, and accidents from improperly inflated tires. Tire pressures are visually displayed for the driver and delivered via satellite directly to the InSight user. Provided by BAT RF by STEMCO, the Tire Pressure Sensor works with STEMCO’s mileage sensor. SkyBitz customers who already use the mileage sensor can expand capabilities to tires.

Information from both sensors is delivered to end-users via SkyBitz’s InSight Asset Management Tool, a software application for tracking, monitoring, and managing assets for multiple industries.
