DriverTech, designers of the DT4000 TruckPC onboard computing system with three modes of communications, announced several enhancements to its DTScan In-Cab Scanning system. The latest version of the DTScan can be included in new applications of the DT4000 TruckPC system and will be provided to DTScan customers as part of their regular updates. Newest features include:

  • Intelligent Document Transmission capabilities enable fleets with Forms Recognition software to automatically identify and categorize document types and streamline document entry in office systems upon arrival, without the need for manual data entry.

  • Driver Load Number Entry option reduces bill processing time, and with automatic inclusion in the document transmission string provides for immediate and quick confirmation to validate load number.

  • Date/Time Stamp tells drivers exactly when a document batch was scanned relative to an established cutoff time for driver settlement, and it eliminates disputes.

  • Tap/Zoom/Drag features and an on screen keyboard make it simpler and easier to enter data, and remove unnecessary buttons from the onboard TruckPC
