Sept. 30, 2015

Texas TransEastern (TTE), Houston TX, recently received the Great West Fleet Safety Award at the Texas Trucking Association’s 2015 Annual Conference in Bastrop TX. Presented by the Texas Trucking Association and the Great West Casualty Company, in cooperation with the American Trucking Association, the award recognized outstanding highway safety in 2014.

Nine safety awards were given out at the conference, each going to the top performer in each mileage classification for both Intercity and Local categories. TTE’s Central Texas division, which consists of the Waco and Bryan-Hearne terminals, received the award for having the lowest accident frequency in the local category, 1-5 million miles class.

“TTE’s success is grounded in our ability to safely and efficiently transport fuel,” said JJ Isbell, president of TTE. “I am incredibly proud of our drivers for maintaining this high performance standard, and am excited to see TTE continue to thrive.”
