Quality Carriers expands in the Chicago market

Quality Carriers, a leading North American bulk chemical carrier, has expanded its presence in the Chicago IL market.

"Recently, we announced expansion in Denver, West Texas, Houston, Indianapolis, and Pennsylvania," says Randy Strutz, president, Quality Carriers. "As we review the market and meet with our customers, we have found the need for expanded capacity in the core chemical market of greater Chicago. As a result, one of our existing independent affiliates agreed to expand their Midwest presence by opening (a terminal) in Channahon IL, a suburb of Chicago."

Jody Mangeot, president, Linmoore Investments, says: "As an independent affiliate of Quality Carriers, we already have well established terminals in Cincinnati, Lima, Barberton, and Southpoint, OH; Institute WV; and Morton IL. The Chicago market opportunity is an attractive one as it helps us round out our Midwest presence. This gives us another market for driver recruiting and enhances our ability for lane efficiency."
