HollyFrontier Lubricants & Specialty Products has named K-Limited Carrier Ltd the HollyFrontier 2018 National Carrier of the Year.
K-Limited Carrier Ltd, Toledo OH, is a three-time winner of the program, and 2018 marks the second consecutive year for the chemical hauler to receive the award.
K-Limited Carrier Ltd supports HollyFrontier’s base oil and process oil shipments out of the East Chicago IN, Cleveland and Toledo OH transload terminals, and they finished the year with a total of 394 points.
HollyFrontier’s program is based on a points system in which multiple items make up the program versus being solely based on “on-time shipping.”
A re-cap of the points system:
Each participant starts every Quarter with 100 points, for a possible 400 points by year-end.
A few of the items that participants are judged on, where an issue occurred due to carrier-caused and/or controllable events include:
- On-time arrival for loading
- On-time delivery
- Safety
- Complaints
- Administrative (ie timely monthly performance reports, invoicing, etc)
