Grammer Industries’ shows patriotic propane transport at MATS

March 24, 2014

Grammer Industries, a leading hazardous materials transportation company, recently announced a $250,000 campaign initiative to benefit the Shepherd Center and the Wounded Warriors Project.

The yearlong initiative kicks-off on March 27, 2014, at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville KY, where company executives plan to unveil a custom-wrapped propane transport paying tribute to our nation’s military heroes.

Proceeds from the campaign will go to support the SHARE Military Initiative at the Shepherd Center, an Atlanta-based spinal cord and brain rehabilitation clinic, and the Wounded Warriors Project. Both programs provide assistance, support, and education to US service members wounded and injured during the Afghan and Iraqi conflicts.

“We set out on this endeavor, because we were inspired by the life-changing impact and rehabilitation support provided to one of Grammer Industries’ own,” according to Charles Whittington, Grammer Industries Founder and CEO. “The work that the Shepherd Center and the Wounded Warrior project do is phenomenal, and we are thankful for the tremendous support from our vendors.”

The custom tractor-trailer is also planned for display at the National Propane Gas Association’s Southeastern Convention and International Propane Expo in Atlanta GA and at the M-PACT conference in Indianapolis IN before beginning nationwide service.
