A&R Logistics Inc, Morris IL, has acquired Pacific Chemical Distribution Corp and its affiliate Pacific Bulk Transportation Co Inc, Buena Park CA, according to A&R Logistics information.

Pacific Chemical is a plastics packaging and transportation provider on the West Coast.

”What attracted us most to Pac Chem was the people and the high quality of services they provide to customers,” said Jim Bedeker, chief executive officer of A&R Logistics. “Jim Tausz and Tim Inzana have built a great company, and we are looking forward to their continued contributions within the A&R family of companies.”

A&R Logistics is a provider of bulk transport and logistics services to the plastic resin industry. The company operates from 24 facilities throughout the United States and manages a fleet of approximately 700 tractors and 1,100 bulk and dry van trailers.
