The National Tank Truck Carriers’ 2018 Tank Truck Week hit all the right notes this week at the Music City Center in Nashville TN.

Around 1,400 people showed up for the industry’s premier tank truck equipment trade show, which featured a fleet of shiny new tankers, and appearances by Grammer Industries’ Wounded Warrior propane transport truck and Professional Tank Truck Driver of the Year Paul Emerson, a Foodliner Inc driver.

Dan Furth, NTTC president, called 2018 one of the industry’s best years, with many tank truck fleets across the country running flat out, and said the positive impact from their success was reflected in the event's exemplary turnout.

The two-day gathering also boasted more than 100 exhibitors, including Bulk Tank Inc, Civacon, Dixon Bayco, Hendrickson, IMMI, LBT Inc, MAC LTT Inc, Nu-Line Products Inc, Paragon Enterprises, Ridewell Suspensions, SilverLiner, Solimar Pneumatics, Transcourt Tank Leasing, Tremcar Inc, Tuthill Vacuum & Blower Systems, Ultraflo, Unibloc, Volvo Trucks, Werts Welding & Tank Services Inc, Wright Flow Technologies Inc and Zistos Corporation.

First Sergeant Matt Eversmann (Ret.), a decorated war hero and military leader, whose inspiring story of survival was immortalized in Black Hawk Down provided the keynote presentation.

The week’s educational opportunities included maintenance, safety and tank cleaning sessions, the latest technology on display in the venue’s exhibit hall, and a concurrent US DOT Cargo Tank Test & Inspection Workshop.
