IDEX Corp has named George J Noa Jr president of its Knight business unit. He succeeds Paul M Beldham, who recently was appointed president of IDEX's Pulsafeeder business based in Rochester NY. Noa joined the company in 1996 as vice-president of sales.

The Boler Co has appointed Joseph Ross president of Hendrickson International, the company's principal operating division. Ross will continue to head the Hendrickson Trailer Suspension Systems business. He replaces Mark Schwabero, who recently resigned.

Hayes Lemmerz International Inc has appointed James A Yost chief financial officer. Yost retired from Ford Motor Co in 2001 after serving as vice-president of corporate strategy. Kenneth A Hiltz will continue as chief restructuring officer. Brian O'Loughlin has been named chief information officer (CIO) and joins the company from Revlon Inc, where he served as CIO. Edward W Kopkowski has been appointed to the newly created position of vice-president of operational excellence. He previously served as founder and president of Kopko Associates Ltd.

ArvinMeritor Inc has appointed Debra Shumar senior vice-president — continuous improvement and quality. She was also elected an officer of the company. Shumar most recently served as vice-president — continuous improvement and quality. The company also has promoted Lisa Corona to vice-president — human resources (HR). She served previously as the firm's senior director of HR.

Accuride Corp has appointed Larry Taylor senior vice-president of sales and marketing and Robert “Bob” Nida vice-president of technology and continuous improvement. Most recently, Taylor served as Accuride's vice-president of sales and marketing, focusing on heavy vehicles. Nida most recently was director of continuous improvement and interim director of operations at Accuride de Mexico.

DAC Services has named Derek Hinton vice-president of product development, Kent Ferguson vice-president of operations, Rick Eccleston vice-president of system development, Lance Hursh vice-president of client services and marketing, and Todd Hensley vice-president of sales. Most recently, Hinton was director of communications and legal affairs. Ferguson served as director of operations, and Eccleston previously was division liaison to the parent company's information technology group. Hursh was DAC's director of marketing, and Hensley served as director of sales and marketing.

Connie Fields has moved from Horton Inc headquarters in Roseville MN to Omaha NE to become the firm's new national account manager for the Off-Highway/Bus business sector. She formerly was an OEM account manager. Jim LeClaire has moved from Roseville to Dallas TX to become national account manager — fleet business sector. He previously was field service/warranty administration supervisor. Erik Roell has become OEM account manager for Freightliner LLC. He most recently served with Horton as an engineer.

Tuthill Transport Technologies has appointed Ron Garby national sales manager — Canada, based at Grimsby and Woodstock, Ontario. He served most recently with Holland/Neway as Canadian field sales manager.

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co has named Darren R Wells vice-president and treasurer. He previously served as assistant treasurer of Visteon Corp.
