Carmine Bosco has been named president of Blackmer, succeeding Ray Pilch, who recently retired after six years as Blackmer president. Bosco most recently was group vice-president — Petrochemical Products Group of CIRCOR International.

Mario Longhi has been named president of Alcoa Wheel and Forged Products, a business unit of Alcoa Inc. Longhi was previously vice-president and general manager of Alcoa Wheel Products. He replaces William Christopher, who has been named executive vice-president for Alcoa Business System, customer and quality. Alcoa Wheel Products has added Ricardo I Hernandez as sales representative — far Western states. He comes to Alcoa from H Muehlstein & Co, where he most recently worked as international sales representative in northern Mexico. Alcoa Wheel Products also hired Fredric T “Freddie” Franklin as market manager for commercial vehicle wheels. Franklin most recently was with Lebanon (PA) Works.

Titan Industries has appointed Ronald Bass territory sales manager for its Southeast region, and he will be based in Stone Mountain GA. Bass comes to Titan with 15 years of hose assembly experience at Band-It.

Bob Enright has been named president of Union City IN-based Autocar LLC. He previously spent four years as president of Western Star Trucks Inc.

Haldex Brake Systems has named Parker Hilands the new director of OEM sales for its North American sales and service organization. He has experience as both an OEM national sales manager and in product development for both truck and trailer OEM products and systems. Haldex also has appointed Steffen Pisoni the new technical product manager for actuator products within the company's Braking Controls Product Center in Europe. Pisoni was previously a design engineer with the firm.

Kenworth Truck Co has promoted Chris Braun to assistant general manager for operations. Braun will continue to be responsible for all Kenworth manufacturing facilities in Renton and Seattle WA, Chillicothe OH, and Ste Therese, Quebec, Canada. His background includes service as division controller for Kenworth.

Freightliner LLC has appointed Jeffrey Fisher general manager — corporate relations and communications. His most recent position was general manager — corporate communications for Mercedes-Benz USA, based in New Jersey.

Richard L “Dick” Steele has retired as president of Webb Wheel Products Inc and will work as a consultant to the firm for the rest of 2001. Kenneth Dickson has been named Steele's successor as president. Dickson joins Webb from his latest position as president of Long-Airdox Co.

TydenBrammall has named Koorosh Vafadari to direct international sales operations. Before joining TydenBrammall, he served nine years as director for KV International Inc.
