The Unitote, an all-plastic intermediate bulk container (IBC) from chemical container manufacturer Meese Orbitron Dunne Co (MOD), is molded as a single unit to prevent metallic leaching. Such leaching can contaminate high-purity acids, solvents, and ultra-pure water used in semiconductor and other high-tech manufacturing operations.

Seamlessly rotomolded of polyethylene, the Unitote aids chemical manufacturers in shipping acids and solvents with metallic particulate impurities meeting the 1-part-per-billion purity specifications required for wet etching and cleaning processes. The Unitote, available in 275- and 330-gallon capacities, delivers a large container surface area to chemical volume ratio.

The Unitote is UN/DOT-certified for hazardous material transport and storage. Set in a one-piece, rotomolded plastic base, the container is rated for products up to 1.9 specific gravity, stacks two high when filled/three high when empty, and accommodates lift trucks on all four sides. Permanent, molded-in level markings at 55-gallon intervals, seven-inch top port and two-inch standard poly valve are standard.
