Going the Extra Mile nears an end for '06

In November 2005, Heil Trailer International (HTI) introduced the “Going the Extra Mile” Service Award. This award measures customer satisfaction with HTI and its distributor network. It recognizes the HTI distributor that is “Going the Extra Mile” to deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction, by consistently demonstrating superior service and product knowledge before, during, and after the sale.

For the past seven months, customers have been completing surveys that characterize the personal experience they had in purchasing a Heil or J&L trailer. End-users comment on the quality of service and products received during their purchase experience. This feedback is critical to continuously improving equipment and services offered by HTI.

October will mark the end of the 2006 “Going the Extra Mile” Service Award. The distributor with the highest overall customer satisfaction rating, as measured by survey results, will be presented the award at the annual National Tank Truck Carriers Maintenance Seminar in Nashville TN. As of June 2006, the top three distributors in the running are Bay State Truck & Trailer Inc, Pneumatic Technologies, and Highway Transportation Equipment Co Inc.
