Spraying Systems Co has developed a new 40-page catalog to help identify automated tank washing solutions. A Guide to Safe and Effective Tank Cleaning includes design features and product data on: high-pressure (motor-driven) tank washers, fluid-driven reactionary force, fluid-driven constant-speed, fluid-driven turbine, and fixed spray nozzles.

A selection guide outlines options available based on tank coverage and type of cleaning required. Motor-driven tank washers have air or electric motors that rotate the spray nozzle head for high-impact cleaning of tanks from 8' (2.4 meters) to 40' (12.2 meters). Fluid-driven reactionary force nozzles use reactionary force of fluid exiting the nozzle orifice to rotate the spray head and provide high-impact cleaning or gentle rinsing of tanks, drums, vats, or vessels from 3' (.9 meters) to 25' (7.6 meters).

Fluid-driven constant-speed nozzles use momentum of the liquid flow to drive the nozzle's spray head while constant rotating speed is maintained. Their high-impact spray performance is ideal for tanks from 13' (4.0 meters) to 20' (6.0 meters). A variety of fixed spray (stationary) tank washing nozzles provide coverage of tanks from 2' (.6 meters) to 15' (4.5 meters). Also featured is the UltraClean Tank Machine, a product only available in the United States. The UltraClean produces solid stream sprays that rotate around a turbine-powered hub to clean tanks up to 86' (26 meters).
